Where are you headed?

어딘가 가고 있는 사람한테 어디 가냐고 물을 때.

Where are you going? 보다 어감이 상당히 원어민스러운 표현이에요.

cf) Where are you heading? 이라고도 해요.

이건 가기 전에 '어디 갈 거야?'의 의미가 강해요.

이게 진행행형이라서 '가는 중이야'라고 할 것 같은데 이상하죠?^^
하지만 둘 다 딱히 구분 없이 사용해도 문제는 없어요.

2) pick up (물건을) 가지고 가다-어딘가에서 찾아서 가져가다

I picked up your package.

니 택배 가져왔어.

 

3) pick up (사람을) 데리러 가다-주로 차로 태워서

I'll pick you up.

내가 데리러 갈게.
